Rafael C.
As a teenager I had a bad relationship with my family and struggled with anger issues. My way of overcoming these were to run the streets, hang out with friends, and do whatever they were doing. This led me getting into trouble and landed me at AMIkids.
I didn’t want to be there and began to skip. After getting into more trouble, I was lucky enough to be sent back to AMIkids and finally realized that this was my chance to better myself. I learned how to deal with my anger and accept responsibilities for my actions. By focusing on doing positive things, I have become a better person.
Most importantly, AMIkids taught me how to achieve greatness. I am on a positive path and even have a better relationship with my family and others.
