AMIkids Greater Fort Lauderdale competed the daunting task of contacting a school in each and every state! The "Great American Mail Race" was an effort to teach our students the cultural diversity across our nation and help them learn about states from the perspective of their peers from far away.
AMIkids Greater Fort Lauderdale student Jordan was in the pool earlier this week getting SCUBA certified and for the first time, his father joined him to become certified as well. It was great seeing Jordan experience new things and connecting with his dad as they learn something they can enjoy together in the future.
On April 14th 2015, AMIkids Greater Fort Lauderdale had an AMIkids Youth Success Day between 4:30 and 6:30 pm. The Chief Probation Officer (Cassandra Evans) of Circuit 17/Broward County, contacted the program director, Luis Ceruti and stated she wanted to celebrate the graduates from the past 12 months.
