About

Our Impact

Banner

In the past 51 years, the organization has reached over 150,000 youth and countless family members by providing a variety of services aimed at fulfilling our mission of helping youth develop into responsible and productive citizens.

Services range from prevention to day treatment to residential programming. Each year around 5,000 youth who have been involved with or are at risk of entering the justice system are provided educational and behavioral services through our evidence-based, AMIkids Personal Growth Model® or service coordination to meet their individualized needs and goals.

DATA-DRIVEN SUCCESS

2021 AMIkids Impact Report_stats

All youth served by AMIkids are assessed upon enrollment into the program to identify each youth’s individual needs, risks, and strengths. Once in the program, changes in youth needs, treatment goals, and outcomes are tracked regularly using standardized evaluation tools and surveys.

By measuring our youth’s progress throughout their time in the program, as well as following up with them for at least a year after leaving our programs through our partnership with an external evaluator, Justice Research Center, we are able to better understand how effective AMIkids is at supporting our youth in creating bright futures.
