SEABROOK, FL – AMIkids Beaufort is pleased to announce that Steven Crisp has been named as the new Executive Director at the residential facility, located in Seabrook, South Carolina. Crisp will lead AMIkids Beaufort's efforts in empowering our kids to reach their potential and separate their troubled past from a bright future.
"AMIkids Beaufort’s hard-working staff and engaged Board of Trustees helps make the program one of the best in the AMIkids organization at serving kids and transforming lives; and I am honored to be able to contribute my passion and talents toward making this program even better," said Crisp. "Our kids are full of untapped potential, and I look forward to helping them discover that and guide their development to become great people and benefit our surrounding community."
Crisp previously served as Executive Director of AMIkids Piedmont in Clinton, SC since 2012, winning Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year in 2015, participating in Leadership Laurens, and was awarded AMIkids Executive Director of the Year in 2013. Crisp has spent his entire professional career with AMIkids, serving as the Executive Director of AMIkids Georgetown for nearly two years and prior to that as a Special Education Teacher at AMIkids Piedmont for four years.
In addition to his duties as Executive Director, Crisp will also work closely with the AMIkids Beaufort's Board of Trustees to grow its impact on the surrounding community.

Crisp received his Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Presbyterian College in 2006. He married his wife, Claire, in 2006 and has two young children.
