AMIkids is accredited nationally by AdvancED, the world’s largest education community. This formal accreditation speaks to our emphasis on education and gives additional credibility to our successful approach, which is holistic and strength- based.
The AMIkids Personal Growth Model © is designated by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Registry as being evidence-based. According to SAMHSA’s research and independently-verified data, our kids have proven to make substantial educational gains and also to be far less likely to commit a later crime once they have successfully completed the AMIkids program. This designation provides AMIkids with a data-driven verification of our impact on transforming the lives of our communities’ kids.
AMIkids is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) in their Model Programs Guide for successful results with our Day Treatment programs. This OJJDP designation officially makes AMIkids the only rated Day Treatment program in the nation working with at-risk youth according to the Department of Justice criteria. AMIkids is listed in the OJJDP Model Programs Guide along with two hundred other evidence-based programs that make a difference in the lives of children and communities.
The AMIkids Day Treatment Model is listed as an evidence-based, “promising model” by the Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs Crime Solutions.
